BACKUP OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Outlook Express’ files are located deep in the PCs directory structure.  You can move them to My Documents.  Doing that will make backup easier.  You only have to do this once.
To move the mail files to My Documents
Open Outlook Express
Tools
Options
Maintenance
Click on Store Folder 
Click on Change
Scroll up and double click MY DOCUMENTS
Click OK, OK.
Now close Outlook and open it again.  Now your mail is being stored in My Documents

Click on Local Folders
File
Folders
Compact all folders
How to Backup your Addressbook
Click Tools
Addressbook
File
Export
Addressbook
Click the down arrow and save it in My Documents
Name the file address
You will need to backup the file MY DOCUMENTS to a CD-R or external hard drive.
